My name is Marisa and I am the owner of Wrapped in Love Lactation. I am a registered nurse and an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). I have been providing lactation to support for breastfeeding families for over eight years. I have worked in a variety of settings including in a hospital, a neonatal intensive care unit, and also my own private practice.
My journey into private practice lactation care began after I became a mother. I became even more passionate about lactation care after having my own son in 2021. My son had a lip and tongue tie at birth, and we used a nipple shield for the first six months of his life. After having a difficult to start to our breastfeeding journey, we continued to breastfeed into toddlerhood.
My goal with providing lactation care to families is to support you with whatever your choices are. Whether it is exclusive pumping, combination feeding with breast milk and formula, or extended breastfeeding into toddlerhood, I am here to help you along the way.

When I come to your home for a consultation, I will spend about an hour and a half working with you and your baby. I will perform a comprehensive assessment of both you and your baby, assist you with latch and positioning, and provide you with a care plan to continue at home after our visit.

I am always available for continuous support for you and your family. I offer follow-up visits either in person or via telehealth.

I can assist you on your breastfeeding journey from the comfort of your own home. I will help you troubleshoot and answer all lactation questions. Great for general breastfeeding questions and pumping support.
